All my aunts and uncles on my father’s side moved to the States, but Dad made the right decision to stay in the Philippines. We live comfortably at a relatively low cost, Mom didn’t have to work, I didn’t have to worry about being unalived at school, and my siblings and I studied college debt-free.

I’m glad my dad chose to stay here in the Philippines, even if all his other siblings (my aunts and uncles) moved. Seems that the grass is greener where you water it.
