Guess I'll play the waiting game.

It was quite a feat, considering that there were a couple of close calls in a few other matches I had against SyorinJPN's Rugal.
The last match was particularly stressful where I only just managed to defeat a R4 Guile using C-Groove (MnSumButter).

Also, cheater alert:
Velays is a lag-switcher who will deliberately drop his connection when he finds himself on the losing end in a match. Avoid this clown online at all costs if you come across him.

You start off with only 14 coins & 230 Energy Points & there are 5 levels to get through.
You need to be mindful on how you spend the coins on power-ups, energy & Extra Guys, & things get super difficult on the 3rd mission in Japan.
Also, weapons are useless.

It's not "casual-friendly", executing 1-frame links consistently can be a turn off for some, & in high level matches, it's laden with heaps of OSs (option-selects).
Great to watch, but learning the game's mechanics can be difficult.

This would have to be the 1st time that we've ever watched any major tourney on the screen projector with the lights off at the Collingwood Library venue.
