Question I will be asking @hystericalblkns.bsky.social this week is, how does she write so smooth--sentences clean as bones? If you are in Edmonton neighbourhood this is not an event to miss.🪶

It looks even gorgeous than I thought. This book will definitely give your shelf a new life. I promise. Contraband Bodies is a poetic imaginary of migration from below.

I am glad to have a new poem in @thewalrus.ca latest issue. This poem was written with my Moroccan friend, Houcien Abbouazza, in mind. We both waded thru America together in 2020. Grateful to @cstarnino.bsky.social for finding it worthy. Also coming forth from Contraband Bodies in Fall 2025.

Casual portrait of @toluini.bsky.social's UNRAVEL. I must say Tolu writes masterfully. The course for the reader is never predetermined. Iyéwándé, now my leading favorite in the collection. I so confess.

"Gold Coast" by Hussain Ahmed in African Urban Echoes -- an anthology that "thinks" with African cities rather think "of" African cities. But have you bought your copies on @amazonca @amazon yet?
