Just me, the Mrs, 3 weans and the Celtic.

Independence for Scotland
Isco is orchestrating everything.

Betis are a decent side…not that the English commentators give them any credit for it.

Lucky to be only 1 down atm

All of it together, I think.

I’d rather get Aberdeen or hearts with the other getting st Johnstone. Hopefully st Johnstone win the other semi, we win ours and we can all get tickets for the final.

I thought it was great today as well. My son, who is only 13 hasn’t really seen such a large away support. He said the atmosphere was completely different and there was something good in the air… you could feel it was just different.

Shame the rangers fans couldn’t hack us winning at ibrox 😞

It would take a lot longer than 9 months to demolish, prep and complete a new build of that scale.

It’s not like the north stand which is a shell… the entire club operational base is there. As well and many hospitality area.

The fit out would take a good while imo.

If they put in place a ticket exchange, many ST holders could temporarily be moved on a game by game basis.

The TV deal could scupper any streaming element in the UK… but worth exploring.

I think it would be a 2 year project though.
March 5, 2025 at 1:03 PM
I thought that as well. I’m sure Killie put it off last close season
March 5, 2025 at 8:41 AM
Maybe. It wouldn’t be easy though.
March 5, 2025 at 8:40 AM
A deal would need to be struck with the main stand STH. They’d maybe need to stop the reallocations and those on the waiting list for a few seasons. Make some space that way, possibly.

Whether the board actually WANT to increase the capacity though 🤷‍♂️

There isn’t really a ‘debate’ at this point.. simply because ‘it just would’ doesn’t add value to any side of any debate, unless you’re 8 years old and it’s past bed time.

How
March 4, 2025 at 11:27 PM
I doubt any Celtic fan would want to move the stadium.

The main stand expansion has 1 huge problem imo. There are 7k season ticket holders there… where are they re-allocated to while it’s demolished.

Finance isn’t an issue imo.

Would that guarantee I could sit with my son?
March 4, 2025 at 11:23 PM
That still doesn’t work. Many people need to sit together. Side by side for simple security and safety reasons. There are 100s of seats in 113 (where I sit)… if I can’t guarantee a seat NEXT to my son, he can’t really go.

But it’s a moot point, as it will never happen.
March 4, 2025 at 11:20 PM
Expand the stadium and improve the facilities - yes

Introduce a ticket exchange- yes

Have a free for all with seats- a million percent no? I go with my 13 year old son. People need to guarantee they can sit next to young family members/kids… not with mates.
March 4, 2025 at 11:09 PM
I was just thinking that. It’s got the hearts ‘yang’ game all over it.

I saw something about this involving Dundee Utd… is it another ‘dodge’ of some sort, or way to garner more cash from some poor sap?
