If we have to remember “this all started with fraud” then you have to remember it was not immigrants who manufactured that pyramid scheme. It was a white, woman US citizen. It was not immigrants and it certainly was not children.

You’re overlooking the blame that should be squarely placed on the company with a track record for deciding elections in multiple countries. This is the same logic as “hey you’re a threat to the environment because you don’t recycle” when corporations are the ones doing the major damage.
