Additionally, I am keen to understand how computational approaches can bridge clinical neuroscience with abstract theoretical frameworks. Would this transition be a logical progression, and are there ways to leverage my current expertise to contribute effectively to theoretical neuroscience?

I am eager to develop computational skills further and transition into theoretical neuroscience. I am curious whether my clinical neuroscience foundation would enable a successful shift to theoretical modeling.

While I appreciate the significance of these areas, my background is more aligned with clinical neuroscience, particularly understanding and modeling brain activity related to neuromodulation and neurological disorders.

My thesis involved using Transcranial Electrical Stimulation (TES) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to suppress motor excitability in neurons, giving me hands-on experience with neuromodulation in systems neuroscience.

Correct me if i am wrong i do see majority of the computational people working mainly in cognitive areas . i come from more of clinical neuroscience or translational neuroscience background .what do you think about comp neuro in this areas ? i would like to transition more into theoreticl neuro

Thats great . I will look into it . What type of model do you use mainly?
December 4, 2024 at 8:41 PM
I have been following clopath lab . I like the work done by john griffith too

Can you please tell me some researcher in this field . Thanks
December 4, 2024 at 8:10 PM
Sure please thank you so much
December 4, 2024 at 9:11 AM
This is great . At the same i am also trying to find researcher who are doing neurostimulation as well as comp neuro - modeling. Do you know anybody who does the same? Thanks
