It's finally time to get my plants transferred. And to celebrate I even have homemade irrigation pots (ollas) or dare I say "Oy! A Diglett(s)!"

I'm very happy with the results. For a test batch almost everything came out perfect.

My dog is lazy and food motivated. Gotta bring his weight down. Vet says he's too stressed out. Loves to snap at bugs.

Two valuable lessons here:
1. Don't confuse flocculation and deflocculation. While it fixes the glaze, it also needs to be tested for defects like glaze crawl. Thankfully this was a test piece.

2. Test glaze layering and always keep notes. The blue reaction is awesome!

I have a hard time remembering names and faces. But after almost 10 years I still remember who made each of these cups from my college apprenticeship. Each piece is priceless to me. So I leave my flat screen nearby so thieves can take that instead.

There's always at least one person asking if I do special commissions for Xmas. And I love them for asking.
