This is a problem for another day but the American people will be literally paying for a very long time when the lawsuits from all these atrocities go through the legal system.

This is one of the most riveting pieces of journalism I’ve ever read. I’ve gone back to read it occasionally and wonder where the family and fiancée are now. I hope that healing has continued and that your writing helped them with that process.
