Apparently too old to Rock 'n' Roll and too young to die.

Curious: Where do the Kilrathi Space Truck drivers figure into their caste system?

Wait, someone actually believes they can take something a CEO says at face value?

Hell, they're still the worst bunch of out-of-control patent trolls outside of maybe Apple.

I thought it meant that Christopher and Inamo could only be "kidnapped".

Gee, Don... who is it that has been enabling this assclown for the last decade?

Now, of course, all but V are on Steam, so I've played through just about all the currently "canon" Ys games in their updated, remastered forms.

Yeah, I played the not-so-good PC port of the first one back in 89-90. Got most of the way through, but there were a couple bits in the final dungeon that weren't really clear in the translation. Later got my hands on a MSX emulator and was able to play a decent port of I and II.

Took long enough to become available in America, though. I think I first played it on a MSX emulator in the late 90's.

If I admit to 20, do I get to be 20 again?

Legal experts say that the Britannian Constitution does not allow Lord Blackthorn to use razor sharp pendelums when interrogating prisoners.

That's the test, right? Anyone who would agree to mistreat those precious game boxes like that is obviously unfit to date you.

One thing I can say for all of the animated adaptations: at least they knew when not to mess with the books' best passages.

I've eaten at the Bayou exactly once, and it was so long ago I don't remember anything about it. It's literally possible E-tickets were still a thing then.

I haven't looked at the periodic table in a while, but I do remember there were some elements on the periodic poster in my high school class that didn't have names yet.

Only if it comes out while Paul Williams is still around.

It does do pattern recognition OK. That's why it's so good at plagiarizing.
December 11, 2025 at 12:11 AM
Well, you're paying for the ambience of eating in the same building as that one boat ride that used to be pretty cool until they crammed so many boats in that it stops all the time while they load the passengers.

Ancient society's obsession with virginity got pretty weird sometimes.

And modern churches continuing to propogate that obsession... well, I can't say it's the worst thing they do, but it's certainly top 10.

Christmas snake,
Christmas snake,
Something isn't right...
My cat tried to attack this tree,
But was eaten in one bite!
Hey!

And most of baseball wrote him off as a looney when he tried getting players to use the pitching mechanics he claimed allowed him to pull that off.
