I'd like to see a breakdown by position group of felony charges. It sure feels like WRs are disproportionately higher than the rest.

Was staying at the Loew's Santa Monica for work in the late 90s and Pete Sampras got on the elevator. He was wearing tennis shoes but no socks and his ankles were so pale compared to the rest of his legs it was hard not to stare at them.

They might have been interested, but maybe his agent had informed what the market was and they took a wait and see approach. Sign him in Jan/Feb if not other interest. Never know exactly what goes on behind the scenes

It's hard to blame them with their recent history with him. They've had him in house and know if he was worth that money or not.

"Just go to a trade school" is what you wrote. If you didn't mean that to him specifically, it must mean you're trying to apply some kind of larger morality/character choice to an humorous anecdote from the late 80s. Which means you're kinda missing the point of the original post.

What utopian college and degree do you have where every one of your 120 credit hours were well-rounded fulfilling courses. Everyone had a class or two that you had to take or you had to choose the section with the professor people avoided.

3/ Many undergraduate courses you are often not really tested on what is important, but what the prof/TA decides what's easiest to test/grade on. This is true of a job. We don't always do the correct thing, but what our boss wants wrong or right. So he did his job learning for the test.

2/ Nice implication that trade school is somehow below a college degree. It's a better ROI than a liberal arts bachelor's degree in the current system.

1) You're suggesting that an award-winning author should have forgone his degree and go to trade school because he figured out the course grade was entirely based on the reading materials and not the lectures and therefore skipped them and got an A. 1/
