I think cryptocurrency was created with the good of getting away from banking institutions. That is a good thing to me, but it also created a market for people to scam / steal / or manipulate the currency into increasing or decreasing value. Doge Coin and Hawktuuuah are good examples.

Bitcoin is a decentralized pump and dump system. Only a few actually benefit with no actual value attached to it. US currency is technically useless in my eyes since we came off the Bretton Woods system in the 70’s.

Yeah that’s where we disagree, I think Bitcoin is a scam and money is a product of society. Trading or bartering is the true way of consumption. We don’t need all this “stuff”.

Yes human consumption is everywhere. And some industries more than others. But I think AI and BitCoin aren’t necessities for human life.

There are 81million people that hold Bitcoin and 301 million people pay for Netflix. Netflix energy consumption per user is dramatically lower.

Humans are benefiting from a product and the product is using significant energy consumption. How is that part of human consumption?
