Lando Norris may well win the championship now (ew), but happily it'll be with the knowledge that Max Verstappen has easily been the best driver this season, and is clearly the superior driver in every single way. #f1 #braziliangp #saopaulogp

Earlier in the year, I was all for a new F1 champion this season. But because of McLaren doing McLaren things, I so want Verstappen to win again. And it'll be one of the funniest things that's ever happened in F1, on par with 2007.

More high-quality journalism from the Daily Mail. Reading this headline made my brain hurt. #wtfisproofreading

Once again, well done to everyone who blindly voted for this shambles of a government at the last election solely on the basis that 'they're not the Tories'.

It's going so well, isn't it?
The government are wrong to think places and nature don’t matter to the public. ❌

All evidence shows the opposite.

Weakening protections for our National Parks would be a devastating step backwards for nature, and for the landscapes millions love.
NEW

The government is considering plans to weaken a law protecting England’s national parks, in a move criticised as “outrageous” and “devastating”.

It is genuinely wild to me to see people on social media celebrating the death of somebody, just because they disagreed with his politics.

Sunburnt and slightly deaf, but had a great day at Silverstone yesterday for the Festival. A few highlights:

A Ferrari 1-2-3 would be the worst possibly outcome for this race. sadly. I dare say after how the season has gone so far, the ACO might be facing some uncomfortable questions as to how Ferrari still had such an advantage here. BoP = not working? #LM24Hour

IndyCar: the series where a whole lot of stuff happens, and in the end Alex Palou wins.

Shocked to hear about the the awful tragedy at Oulton Park today. Turn one for race starts at Oulton is sketchy enough even with cars, never mind bikes... www.britishsuperbike.com/news/2025/ma...
At the start of this afternoon’s Quattro Group British Supersport Championship race at Oulton Park, exiting turn one, Old Hall corner on the first lap, there was a chain reaction incident involving 11 riders falling. The race was immediately stopped and trackside medical services deployed.

A championship battle between a rider who has won 90 races and a rider who has 0 wins in 90 starts? Not great!

I love how you can not only make fun of Teslas for being the awful, ugly, boring and dangerous cars they've always been, but you can now also make fun of them for being bought and driven by genuinely awful people too.

Oh dear Cadillac. Leading 1-2, and they manage to hit each other on a safety car restart. 🤦‍♂️ #wec

At this point, I'm increasingly convinced anyone still using Twitter is either giving tacit approval of Musk and the utter cesspit he's turned that site into, or just value the number of followers they have on there over and above anything else.

Tonight will be the first Super Bowl I've not stopped up to watch in...over 10 years, I think? My enthusiasm for watching the Kansas City Swifts is non-existent. Least it means I'll be in bed sooner than 4am!

Ford back in the top class at Le Mans by 2027? Neat. And with McLaren very likely to get involved too?

Incredible to think by 2027, we could see Alpine, Aston Martin, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Ford, Genesis, McLaren, Peugeot, Porsche and Toyota all competing for the outright win.

It's funny to me that people use Bluesky to escape the toxic hellscape that the ketamine-addled skipping dipshit has turned Twitter into, but then...still share screenshots of his tweets here? Like, why?

One of the best MotoGP races of the past few seasons on YouTube, in full, on the MotoGP channel. Neat.

My observations of using Bluesky. Yes, it seems a better/far less toxic hellscape than the site formerly known as Twitter (not much of an achievement, admittedly).

But that's very likely because hardly anyone uses it. Herein lies the fundamental problem with social media - people.
