Grumpy dog owner in SW London. Also cycles.
I think the interior of a lot of those SUVs is no more than a hatchback anyway. Golf boot space 380l Lexus boot space 450l so really not very different and seats down the golf has more!

Pie in the sky; There are no fences, cones, plastic barriers and minimal road signs.

Otherwise brilliant.

It's not just Labour. I've asked my local LibDem council and they have refused to move. Part of the reasoning is somewhat counterfactual:
"Leaving the platform now could reduce access to factual, trusted local information ....... about Council services for many residents."

An illustration of my parking hate. Putting your numberplate into a shitty keyboard (which isn't qwerty or illuminated) having followed the illogical set of requests to determine how long you want to park for.

Getting to the pay stage is a cause for celebration.

Or just put a large hedge next to the road to stop rubber necking. There are other one lane stretches so just doing one doesn't solve the problem.

Argument from a villager? Then the delay is smaller as they start in the 20mph zone from 0mph.

What about emissions or 2nd / 3rd gear issues. You know they're grabbing at straws when those get rolled out.

Hope it goes through, it's made a big difference locally to me as a pedestrian and a cyclist.

The Audi emblem makes sense now - 4 horse apples stuck together.

I would like to see something criminal. Not just to punish these two but also to encourage others. Currently the downsides of doing this sort of thing are minimal.

Given what they did for Brexit would you trust them with human rights?
October 9, 2025 at 2:08 PM
With hindsight how can you rank Cameron so high given he gave us Brexit and all that has happened since?

Represent Putin? I thought they were talking about Reform; I'm assuming you've never taken money from him unlike the ex leader of Reform in Wales.

What will they do if this happens in London:

On Sunday, #Zürich residents voted 52.8% in favor of increasing parking fees for cars according to weight.

The owner of a BMW X2 (Diesel), which weighs 1,675 kilograms, will now pay equivalent of €717 Euros per year to park on a public street. (Before, about €321.)

Direct democracy!

The guy he threw an axe at is probably quite pleased with that.

Lucky is not in charge of anything dangerous.
