I remain unsure about the conclusions of these studies. I'm sceptical about how well you can isolate the effect of parental provision, or how well it's measured. E.g. one of the meta-analyses defines provision like this. Doesn't really separate 'good role-modelling' from 'couldn't give a...'.

A little snippet for those interested in alcohol pricing. 'White' ciders like Frosty Jack's have long been the cheapest alcohol available in the UK, but no more. Frosty Jack's remains cheap (28p/unit), but the cheapest is Compton's (25p/unit) or Crofter's (25p/unit) ciders - both are amber ciders.

Second, the main THINK! messaging incorporates a '0%' but not alcohol or pub branding. So it's just promoting the idea of using alcohol-free drinks to avoid drink-driving. That seems pretty sensible and logical given the growth in the alcohol-free drinks market.
