The 72nd Annual Pacific Orchid Exposition is a must-attend event for orchid enthusiasts!
Orchids in the Clouds: Pacific Orchid Exposition 2025 https://www.orchidsanfrancisco.org/ The 72nd Annual Pacific Orchid Exposition is a must-attend event for orchid enthusiasts! Get ready to immerse yourself in the mesmerizing world of orchids at the SF County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park. This event will showcase themed flower displays, expert advice on growing orchids, and a stunning array of beautiful and rare orchids. Orchids and other plants will be for sale from members of the San Francisco Orchid Society as well as many local, national & international nurseries. The show runs from 10:00am - 5:00pm on Friday (February 28) & Saturday (March 1), and from 10:00am - 4:00pm on Sunday (March 2). Interactive demonstrations will be conducted by experts with information about successfully growing and blooming orchids at home. Families are welcome, and there will be special activities for kids and people of all ages and interests. Children 12 and under are free (Friday-Sunday) with a paid adult chaperone. We thank Oakville Ranch Winery, our premier sponsor, for supporting the San Francisco Orchid Society and this event, and for donating wine for the Preview Night fundraiser from 6:00pm-9:00pm on Thursday February 27th. At the Preview night, adult (21 years+) attendees will have their first chance to purchase plants, bid on items in the silent auction, and see the displays while enjoying live entertainment, wine and hors d'œuvres. This year's theme is “Orchids in the Clouds," meant to showcase the cloud forest and other interesting habitats where many orchids are found in nature. Displayed orchids will compete for cash prizes, and will be judged by the American Orchid Society for ribbons and trophies.
