Fixed the amp, Replaced the zener diode that the cap glue ate, along with all the other small components in the vicinity. So nice to have it back working after 10 years

Repairing my old Rotel RA-02 HiFi amp. For some reason they glued the big caps down, glue that becomes corrosive and conductive with age... At least I have an obvious starting point for why it's not working.

Spent yesterday setting up Opnsense on a mini-pc. I've formerly been crap at networking stuff and always ended up breaking things or giving up.
By end of day had it all working AND I'm starting to get more of a handle on networking.
Still lots more config to do, but a good start

Bought a mini pc from AliExpress. It was supposed to come with a UK plug and this is what it turned up with.
Clearly 'designed' by someone who has no idea how UK plugs & sockets work and certainly never tested in one.

Pico weather station project now complete. Went for lofi mounting option, reusing the screws were zero was mounted previously with a bit of garden tie.
