Later, we switched to a more formal programming language: Turbo Pascal. We used version 5.0 for DOS, too, in English language. We used it mainly as a procedural programaming language. I remember having a good time designing a text interface for the assignments. 🤭

My first contact with programming was with Logo Writer, either the DOS version or the Windows one, both in Spanish. We instructed the turtle to move, either while drawing a line with a color and/or line width, and we could build programs as complex as our abilities and imagination could allow. 🖥️👨‍💻

One of my first experiences with a PC was at school, with a Pentium-powered IBM PC, like the one in the picture. It could either have Windows 95 or 98, and some machines didn't even have speakers (only the internal "beep" one), or even a CD drive, so we saved our assignments in floppy discs. 💾
