I absolutely loved Sq dancing in gym class because it was fun. I liked to dance & was so easy & u got to hold hands w/boys. But basically Henry Ford was so afraid of jazz &musicians behind it of two specific races that he really pushed what he perceived to be white USA dancing. tinyurl.com/y2pas6jc

As a kid seeing this in the dollar theater, it was a dream come true to see my crush is a real life still alive human man.

Except we all learned square dancing, and it turns out there’s a dark history about that in the USA being forced to our schools.

That’s great, and I even stuck around for George of the jungle. Amazing how they pointed out the cameraman must’ve been a dancer too.
