So we're angry about the NYT not covering an issue and expressing that anger in a NYT article about the issue?

I think both can be reported, right Steven? This reactionary clapback every time the media doesn't report exactly what we want is unfortunate. News is news.

That's certainly unusual but I don't think it's as nuts as you'd think. QBs usually deal with their OC and QB coach 95% of the time I imagine.

I'm not sure why we're just accepting this as truth when it seems like Williams is the only source. Makes no sense that Eberflus and Waldren would treat their prized qb this way.

I was, too, at first. But I think the plan here is to muzzle GP via plenty of opportunities and prime time games and hope he produces like Tee Higgins. If he does someone will give him $125-$150 and Dallas recoups the 3rd. Not a crazy gamble tbh

I favor putting Painter there and seeing if he can duplicate Mason Miller's success. Miller is going to return to starting eventually but the As are minimizing his injury risk by putting him in the pen. Phils should try the same (if Painter ascends to the Majors this year)

I don't see Walker working as a reliever at all. You need strong stuff that lends itself to shutting down hitters from the first pitch. Usually it's a power fastball but not always. A RP with a great change can be dominant for ex. Tai doesn't really have any plus plus pitches.

Serious question here, because I see a lot of folks hoping Burden falls to 44: who do we think is playing CB? Gotta pray that Bland stays healthy. Who are the other two starters? I think we need Amos or Revel desperately

You have tons of great takes, Robert. Unfortunately your Jackie Robinson comments were not among them. I can't respond on twitter because I don't support racists. But lots of thoughtful people have responded there. 👍

Nice work, John. Sorry I don't do name calling. Just responding to a point made. And yes it is tiresome. This is what they do in free agency. Absolutely nobody should be surprised by it.

Just relentless repetitive criticism that they don't spend money. Now they spend a little and it's on the wrong guy? Sheesh.

It's definitely true that other teams do more and faster early deals than Jerry and his clown sons. Just saying that people who say "just sign MP to $35-36 per and get it over with" forget that Micah has a say, too. There's no games right now. He risks nothing by waiting.
March 10, 2025 at 3:30 PM
Do we know Micah would have sign $5 million ago for 35 per? Maybe he wants to wait. It takes two sides to make a deal. Micah has nothing to lose by waiting.

I'm done. This is not a hire a serious organization serious about winning makes.

If we're going to give Aikman's comments so much play, we should at least acknowledge The Athletic's poll of assistant coaches that named Dallas the most desirable job available. It's "the big room" and built to win.

Another game they probably win if their part-time "superstar" felt like playing. 🤷

Lucky that dude shoving McBride to the ground wasn't flagged for the obvious pass interference.

If we're ever going to be a colorblind society, then we have to be able to speak certain facts without being labeled. Its a fact that it takes high-level commitment to B a great QB. That Herbstreit could say it about Kenny Pickett but he can't about Williams is a problem. (Yes I read the column)
