I don’t really want to argue, I am a dues paying member who appreciates everything you do and I care deeply about my work and my coworkers. But I want to see us getting the right messages out. Thank you for the discourse.

I’d already read it, when it was shared by another account that quoted the article directly stating the LTBMU lost a third of their rec staff. So no. As our union I think it’s important for you to not share sensationalist stuff just to get people to read an article. The facts are plenty bad enough.

No worries y’all. We are on the same team, but I think it’s important to share the factual sound bites and not spread hyperbole. A lot of folks won’t read the article (which is a good one!)

The entire staff? I was literally working from that office today. There were cuts but it wasn’t the entire staff. It’s bad enough without the hyperbole.

Rest assured it was not the entire staff, I was working from there today.

There’s a group in Tahoe that’s been doing this at the main intersection in town for years. ❤️
