People need to be bracing for the fact also that this will not be an overnight fix. It took Republicans decades to build what they needed to do all this. We can hold things up at times, we can grab small victories, but it’s going to take long term work on our side to make any difference.

I don’t know. One of the most amazing thing about the Trump era is that it made clear how much of our system is based on the assumption of the goodwill of those holding office. It’s a miracle it has lasted this long.
