Have any of the former congressmen who took money from the NRA and enabled the use of assault rifles in our schools been held to account Adam?

Yesterday Ross drooled all over Helen Andrew’s article defending Larry Summers’ misogyny, yet today he whines about Summers’ moral bankruptcy. The NYT should write about its own moral bankruptcy for employing a misogynistic, morally bankrupt intellectual lightweight because he generates clicks.

This is Trumpcare. I should not need to lecture the NYT about basic facts.

Given everything you said on Pivot his week, don’t you really mean “Stand. Firm. Unless. Big. Saudi. Check. 🇸🇦”?

A cowardly formerly GOP congressman who took NRA money and opposed assault weapons bans - until deciding not to run for reelection - is probably not the best person to blame cowardly police officers for this tragedy.

No matter how much you misrepresent why most are upset with you, the truth is it is because you supported an unconstitutional war against a sovereign nation without congressional approval or notice. Claiming that expectations of constitutional compliance is a “purity test” is absolutely MAGA bs.
July 8, 2025 at 8:18 PM
Bruh, you supported his unsuccessful, unconstitutional bombing of a non-existent nuke program. Maybe you should sit this one out. Sweet B-2s though, am I right?
June 24, 2025 at 11:38 PM
But no matter how you feel about him, aren’t the B-2 bombers like totally awesome, right Adam?

I suppose this is better than just handing classified docs directly over to Russia and awaiting further instructions, as seems to be her typical way of handling things.

In Morrison v Olson, SCOTUS upheld a law that took the ability to investigate executive branch crimes out of the hands of the executive branch. Scalia was the only judge who dissented. He and his unitary branch theory were EXACTLY about letting the president commit crimes.
June 3, 2025 at 2:49 PM
Uh, Scalia invented the concept of the unitary executive theory in his Morrison v Olson dissent that underpins the entire immunity ruling, and which Thomas quotes multiple times in his concurrence. Scalia was a toad just like the rest of the milquetoast magat justices currently on the bench.

Or at least fire Douthat. What a lightweight.

Will no one rid me of those meddlesome millions of people?
March 13, 2025 at 7:20 PM
Have you considered that the typical maga voter wants the market to crash? Many have so little retirement savings that losing it all is a small price to pay to stick it to “elites” - meaning their neighbors who learned how compound interest works and saved instead of buying a boat.

Why are you linking to WaPo articles at this point? It is just a Bezos propaganda machine and is no longer a legitimate news source.
March 6, 2025 at 9:10 PM
Why are you linking to Washington Post articles at this point? It is now a Bezos propaganda tool instead of a legitimate news source.
March 6, 2025 at 9:09 PM
You might want to consider linking to sources other than the Washington Post, which is now just a Bezos propaganda tool.
March 4, 2025 at 1:40 AM
Why are you linking to WaPo articles now that Bezos has made clear that it’s his oligarchic propaganda tool?

I’m not sure how “failure to [comply] will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination” is much of a deterrent for employees who were already terminated.
