Flowers for the week. My daughters and I were busy on Wednesday running errands, eating dinner and decorating t-shirts.

My last peace rose of the season. They are my favorite.

New flowers of the week. We had a great time on Wednesday. My daughters were working on a creative project for a future Disneyland trip. My grandson, age 10, shared what they are learning about the stolen land we live on & even the boarding schools. He has a good teacher.

Flowers this week - I sometimes think the only calm moments I have are waiting for all the lilies to bloom. It's certainly not when I watch the news. Sports, however- go Mariners! ⚾️✨️

These gorgeous flowers have been decorating my living room since last week.

These are more glorious every day.

These are a treat. I get to watch the lilies open every day. Last Tues night I went to a Jake Shimabukura concert w/my daughters. Sarah had to go home, but Laura stayed over. Rescued a moth from my bathroom. Had coffee on the deck. Did a sewing project, had Starbucks & watched Dancing. A good day.

Happy Birthday to me. Actually it was yesterday. But I still have some delicious chocolate cake left & lovely flowers. My girls & 1 grandson were here on Wednesday- worked better than the actual day. Nothing is better than spending time with my family - & chocolate cake & flowers.

This week's flowers. The roses and hydrangeas are in the living room. The survivors from last week (blue hydrangeas and lilies) are in my office. 💖

This week's flowers are lovely - lilies and hydrangeas. I love the unusual blue ones that have dark and light blue together. Thanks, Laura. 💗

New flowers, with a twist. The lilies, roses and hydrangeas are so pretty. The little bunch of chamomile looked wilted and sad so daughter put them on a vase and put them in my office. And they magically revived. Nice surprise.

I love Wednesdays. I get to visit with my daughter, sometimes this summer with both daughters. And sometimes with my grandsons. We text all week, but getting together in person is the best. And the flowers are a lovely treat, especially when they are my favorites.

Flowers for this week, some inside and some outside. My girls (they're in their 40s, but, you know...) were here on Wednesday, with one grandson.

I love spending time with my girls. On Wednesday they were both here. Lots of laughter & planning for a trip (not scheduled yet), while we enjoyed the flowers, inside & out. It was a hot day - 97 degrees with no A/C. So dinner was Dairy Queen. It was a great excuse for a chocolate shake.

I spent the most lovely evening yesterday with my 2 daughters. We laughed, chatted, collaborated on a project (Disney Bounding related), ranted, hugged all while we shared pizza. They don't live far away, but they have busy schedules so we cherish the times we get together. And there are flowers.

I was outside cleaning off my deck, watering the plants that are too sheltered by my cedar. It's Juneuary in the PNW- sunny days followed by cloudy rainy days. So I came inside, turned up the heat & enjoyed my lovely roses from Laura. 💗
I love this time of year. Perfect.

Happy Summer Solstice. The roses from Laura are my sunshine today. It's cloudy and we'll have a rainy weekend. Just right for June in the PNW. 🌞

Roses that are summery and old-fashioned. I love these. Thanks, Laura. 💗

So far, June is lovely. This was taken from my back deck this evening.

Almost the weekend after a beautiful week in the Puget Sound. So, I have roses inside and in my garden. I usually don't cut the peace roses; they are beautiful where they are, and last longer.

Whenever the news is a bit much (pretty much daily), I enjoy flowers from my daughter or in my backyard.

I had a lovely afternoon on Mother's Day with my daughters. Our time together is a joy.

I post pictures of the lovely flowers my daughter brings me. With all the chaos around us every day, flowers bring me some peace. So I am sharing. We all need to take time to just breathe and find some peace.

Yesterday my daughter gave me lovely flowers. My living room smells wonderful.
