Me: Why didn't you suggest a mixed effects model?

Thanks! What I've done is describe the modeling problem without stating that I want a mixed effects model, despite it fitting the situation extremely well, and found it will not suggest one. Instead it suggests a solutions using regression, tree based models, gradient boosted machines, or ANNs.

It really kicked off my love of literature and poetry. At this point it’s not my favorite *story* and my tastes around prose have changed, but it was such an essential point in my education and I still find it beautiful.

I read it in about 11th grade, early aughts. We covered the symbolism and historical setting of course but what stuck with me was how the teacher used to demonstrate what is prose and how to appreciate it.
