My kid got an early version of the hpv vaxx. I was offered a spot (for my kid) in a final-stage test of the vax (at least two years before it became common) and jumped at it.

It's been weird. It snowed all day yesterday, heavy and wet, so my husband was up late to clear it. (Late, like we went to bed at 2am.) Then one cat pestered us all night. We were both up early (him to work, me to drag the trash bins up the drive) and now we're both headachy and dizzy and tired.

I think this (blaming WWX for something that's painfully obviously pre-planned) and JWY's life-long internalization of this "fact" are a large part of what makes me frustrated with the story as a whole. YZY could have hated WWX without being this idiotic about the Wen attack.
