I would genuinely like the super wealthy to pay more tax but every time this is mentioned, the response is that the net effect will be reduced tax revs as it will drive high earners who contribute a big % of tax, abroad. What do you say to that? What evidence is there that it can work in the UK?

You may be right but I don’t believe that is why Trump is doing Putin’s bidding. Given all of the stuff that is now out there about him that would mean the end for any other person, there has to be something bigger, much bigger, they are holding over him.
