The final House results have now landed as 220-215 for the GOP. That means the House majority came down to the 3 NC seats the GOP flipped thanks to its brand new gerrymander.

i’d argue that had it not been for the pandemic, biden would’ve lost. which means the dems had 12 years to learn that this generation of america is into populist platforms rather than interchangeable recognizable figureheads with lackluster policy that’s been in place for decades.

ranked-choice voting would not solve everything but it’s a great start at breaking up the two party system- a system that’s historically failed americans, and will continue to for decades to come. there is no accountability for our leaders. reelection rates are still well above 90% for a reason.
