No more US Worldcons while this policy is in place. It's probably too late for @seattlein2025.org , but @laworldcon.bsky.social should consider whether it's possible to move to an alternate location outside the US. Certainly going forward we shouldn't seat any more US Worldcons.

Scary fun! I told at a Moth story slam. Theme was Reset. My story: In college I pretended to be a confident, outgoing person instead of the shy, quiet, bookworm who I’d been high school by pretending not to be shy. Climax: my dramatic confrontation with a wasp. 5 minutes, nerves, & so much laughter.

1st time telling at StorySlam! - how I almost missed my HS graduation while glazing a pot, racing to finish before I lost access to ceramics lab. Clock stopped; I panicked. Only 5 minutes till ceremony began. I showered, pulled my graduation gown over naked body. Funny story. Telling was scary fun.
