My old in institution used to have something called “Night of the Open Door” where people could tour labs. It was awesome.

I also think that being involved with the local communities not just about science. I feel like we often think outreach should center science communication. Which I agree! However, I think trust is a big issue and most people have never met a scientist.

Hello! I know you folks are super busy right now, but will there be a mission statement for the website? I think it would be good to outline demands and describe what has been happening, especially for folks outside of the science field.
