I get that. However, I don't think robots trained in hand-to-hand combat (or humanoid robots in general) will be useful in war or other negative endeavors. I predict their deployment will be limited to entertainment and sports.

Why do you think this should be regulated? The man is clearly not in actual danger.

But I agree that robot fights are gonna be bonkers in the next few years. Real Steel was ahead of its time.

Is that Epstein as Lord Farquaad?

I imagine it's not too different from eating pork or beef in front of another person.

Appreciate the dark green Colombia, but why red Chile?

I didn't know Debian users used Nix.

I wonder what makes Claude so ubiquitous for people in tech. Most people that I see talking about using AI for programming use it. Benchmarks don't seem to indicate a significant performance difference.

Maybe it's tooling, I've read good things about the claude code CLI.

The recent survey about LLM usage actually surprised me because from this site I thought Claude was far more popular that it actually is.

The release of cat 5 and subsequent replacement of cat 4o was highly controversial.

Also, it makes the protagonist "relatable", which is important since most of these are self-insert power fantasies.

I think it's a lazy way to avoid properly introducing the world. Since protagonist is new to the world, they will need someone to explain everything that's going on. Thus, the author got an excuse to dump all info they need in dialogue.

It's a meme. The original was about the Pyramid of Giza.

Applies to the whole continent. People in my city are protesting the installation of speedcams in a highway after four deaths last month.

What is it about Rust as a programming language that makes some people hate it?
Not just using it like PHP or Java but the fact that other people make things with it.

You're willing to pay our taxes and like buñuelos? Welcome! You're one of us now.

So, the difference is that the parents of the child must live here as opposed to being here.

Jus sanguinis still applies.

The exception I mentioned before was for undocumented venezuelan inmigrants.

I might be wrong actually:
"Persons born in Colombia, provided that one of two conditions is met: that the father or mother was born in Colombia or is a Colombian national, or that, if they are the children of foreigners, one of their parents was domiciled in the Republic at the time of their birth"

Sadly, no, and "with restrictions" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

We follow a jus sanguinis principle, but an exception was made for children of venezuelan refugees.

I wish Colombia was dark blue there.
