I get that. However, I don't think robots trained in hand-to-hand combat (or humanoid robots in general) will be useful in war or other negative endeavors. I predict their deployment will be limited to entertainment and sports.

Why do you think this should be regulated? The man is clearly not in actual danger.
But I agree that robot fights are gonna be bonkers in the next few years. Real Steel was ahead of its time.

I wonder what makes Claude so ubiquitous for people in tech. Most people that I see talking about using AI for programming use it. Benchmarks don't seem to indicate a significant performance difference.
Maybe it's tooling, I've read good things about the claude code CLI.

The recent survey about LLM usage actually surprised me because from this site I thought Claude was far more popular that it actually is.

I think it's a lazy way to avoid properly introducing the world. Since protagonist is new to the world, they will need someone to explain everything that's going on. Thus, the author got an excuse to dump all info they need in dialogue.
