Art. Baseball. Politics. Not necessarily in that order. Oh, yeah, I'm a Washington lawyer, for better or worse.
It's still deceptive in this case. And it makes it look bigger because it cuts off basically the entire bottom half of the scale, which would show the increase was not nearly as big as a percentage of the base rate as it seems. Most people don't read the scales on charts, after all.

What I love about this chart is how it cuts off the bottom of the scale to make it look like the 2020 spike is bigger than it was.

"Bi-partisan" here is not very subtle code for "We're not going to vote for your bills unless they contain things we really want." Remember, he's already laid out what Dems will demand in negotiations over budget bills and the debt ceiling.

Always up for a Vonnegut reference, but this one *is* kind of scary.

Correction: She lost her bid for reelection. So she doesn't affect the balance of power in the House.

One of the three was Matt Gaetz, who withdrew from consideration, but already resigned from the House and said today he would not take his on Jan 3. Anyway, one more from the House and it could get interesting.

If it's not a search term you want, then I may not be able to help.

Not having done comps for insurance, are you talking about search terms or something else? Because "ice pick flowers glass" would work as a search term. (Just "ice pick flowers" gets you seed companies - that's the first search I did to see if I could find good pictures.)

I'd call them ice pick flowers, and the technique literally is using a thinnish spike of some kind to create the flower shape by pushing down the middle of the color.

(Paperweight people would call this a paperweight-related object, in the same category as doorknobs, drawer pulls, and newel posts.)
