Catching some summer vibes while we have them. Moving to the country has its (limited) perks... Not shown: the fireflies 🪰 and glass of whiskey 🥃

Today I submitted the final report for my CAREER award granted after my start at @buearth.bsky.social. The project advanced our understanding of biosphere-atmosphere-chemistry interactions, funded so many trainees, and supported major expansions of the curriculum in our department. Thank you, NSF!

Another #AGU24 tease... I'm excited to share success we've had with ground-based remote sensing at four sites across the Boston area. Our Pandora network helps us carefully interpret unprecedented tropospheric pollution mapping from the TEMPO satellite instrument. Big effort with many collaborators.

The pile on to Bluesky coincides perfectly with the last minute scramble to work on #AGU24 presentations, no? Finally took the time to compare exciting new TEMPO NO2 data (dark circles) with our Boston area ground-based Pandora observations (light circles). A couple of nice examples here.

Wrapping up at NASA Goddard. It's been great to catch up with colleagues and discuss new collaborations in person. Thanks to folks with the Global Modeling and Assimilation Office, the In Situ Observations Laboratory, and of course the Pandora Global Network Project for all their time!
