I wish I could say this is just a history lesson. But this excerpt from The Diary of Anne Frank is literally happening right now. You could take out the date and put today's date, and it would be valid. But now, ICE is going after anyone with brown skin, citizen, or not. 😣😞

To think that Darren Beattie is in a prominent State Department role and this is what he thinks about us. Honestly, when I hear people blaming DEI, I believe this is what they mean. This is the only type that is worthy of merit. Everyone else is DEI or incompetent. It's so sickening and evil!

She preached truth to power. Telling the truth of God's love for all of us and asking for leaders to protect the least of these wasn't just courageous. It's what we all should do as Christians. Unity isn't conforming to oppression. It is having compassion for all because we are all God's children.
