I understand why young Canadians are mad as hell right now. They should be. I've been trying to warn older progressives about the housing issue for years. It's inherently radicalizing.

Baldwin was an insightful and emotional genius. I respectfully amend his quote with an emphasis on a different existential problem: We can disagree and still love each other unless your disagreement is rooted in the oppression of billions of people who will suffer egregiously from climate change.
