Not at all, maybe I accidentally did something but I haven't been on here for a while so I don't know what happened. I'm mostly on X as you know, still posting on there.

I've just followed you back now.

Have I? I didn't know that. I haven't been on here much so I don't know whats happened.

Thanks. I've got more hospital appointments coming up before I have the operation and I also need to get fit so I'll probably still be around and posting for a few more weeks yet.

I still have a lot of the letters that I got from people who I corresponded with. There was quite a community of fans and I used to meet some of them at the conventions. I've lost touch now. I would like to get back to writing but I've got other things going on now that are more important.

Yes, you could hold it in your hand. I also got lots of letters from people - remember them? Somehow it seemed more personal, now it's all instant messaging.

Shame. I miss those days. Now everything is online. It isn't the same.

What was it called? I was mainly active in the late 80s. I used to go to conventions at the British Fantasy Society but somehow drifted away from the horror scene. Most of the magazines folded and I couldn't find an outlet for my writing so I gave up.

I went up there on a cold and windy autumn day. It was quite atmospheric. A bit creepy!

Nice to see you here. You've got some great photos. I haven't posted much yet, I've had other things going on but I will be posting more soon.

That was the first issue, I was in nearly every one until it folded a few years later.

Thanks. I'm setting off for my art class soon. Back later. The sun is shining here and that's brightened my day.

Yes it's me.

Thanks, Anne. I'll keep you posted.

I may be two weeks in hospital then it will take a few months to recover at home. I'm going next Tuesday for a pre op. I don't know when the op will be but I may find out more then.

Thanks. I posted about it on X, they found some cancer on my esophagus but luckily they caught it early. They were hoping to cut it out in an endoscopy which would have been great but they've now decided that would be risky so I need a big op instead. I won't need chemo though so that's something.

I only just signed up to it a few minutes ago so I don't know much about it either but it looks promising. I'm not sure how active I'll be in the next few weeks as I may have to go into hospital soon but I'll keep checking in every so often.

Hi Anne, I saw your post on X and decided to follow you here. I hadn't heard of this site before but it looks good. You will know me as John Fraser. I also follow you on Instagram. I'll leave a comment on X soon. I'll probably stay on X as well but I understand how you feel about it
