Spent a few hours out at the river today. A bit early for the winter fish, but I have had luck in November in the past. Water was low, but that will be changing soon.

This is Blaze, who left us a few years back at the tender age of 5. His heart was just too big. He loved to sit with his front legs dangling off the chair. I still miss him.

I had originally intended on fishing the Deschutes today, but a flat tire changed my plans. Pivoted to working on a baby quilt for my daughter’s soccer coach. Close to done and more than a month before their due date!
