Are we sure this isn't from The Onion?

Sometimes it’s about principals.

But it has been quite frustrating. Things that used to come second nature are near impossible. I feel like I am learning all over again.

Is that what this is? Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? Did you go through this?

At its best art is a person saying "This is where I am at, what I think, what I see. If you are there, too, I am with you."
At it's best, art is a person looking at art and saying 'I get that', why do I agree?', or 'me, too'.

Art and Beauty is under attack in that empathy is under attack.

Artist fail and succeed just like everyone else. We experiment. We adjust and adapt. We have the same temptations and inclinations as everyone. Art is just one way to explore that, to offer a perspective, or even a different way to ask the "question".

I am around people who talk about these things and look for ways to incorporate our values in our practices. I am not sure where I stand. I think we can still change the world, not just with art, but how we organize. I don't believe an artist is anyone special. We face the same issues everyone does.
