Created more hearts to spread peace and love in my community by leaving for others to find. Sometimes leaving them at medcenters where someone facing difficult/frightening situations might need a little love in this world where hate is normalized. #quiltedhearts, #quiltsky, #sewing, #quilting

As an old lady quilter on the eve of the no kings protest, I’m honoring the hippies who came before me, I’m doing the peace love thing by leaving hearts like these around town for others to find and keep. Love and peaceful protests conquers hate. #quiltedhearts , #peace, #quilting

I finally finished this small Van Gogh ish poppies and starry night quilt today. It’s shown on a queen size bed for size comparison.

My quilts aren’t ready to show yet but my bear , made of fabric depicting old 1915 suffragette buttons, is clad in RBG robe and collar. Nods to Susan B Anthony and Ruth Bader Ginsburg fights for women’s rights. Now the torch is in our hands.

I finally finished ripping out stitches, replacing them, then binding it. It’s on queen size bed for size comparison. So many mistakes in this but finally completed. Entire thing is pieced together with 2” wide triangles in 4 fabrics. Took months to do. #quilting , #quilts , #quiltsky , #sewing .

Yes I settled on a beige border so that the window would be more prominent.It’s lying across my long arm’s frame now but I haven’t yet pinned it onto the frame to quil it. The border looks larger than it will be when finished because the backing is also shown and it’s 5” more on all sides.

I just finished a memory bear made with someone’s loved ones clothing, I have a 3D pieced quilt on my long arm, I just cut up a cotton digital panel to make into a window quilt.I just finished a teddy bear wearing a vest for LA fire victims.
I’m going tomorrow to buy more stuff. I win. Lol
