Can be a fun exercise, but it is also way too early to being close to a real redraft. A lot of players are not in the league yet so it is hard to project the real impact they will have in the league. Look at 2022, hutson and gauthier would probably be in the top 3 now.

He does not know the history at all. Venezuela officially nationalized its oil industry in 1976, while Gerald Ford was US President. Hugo chavez expanded state control from 2000 to 2007, when Georges W Bush was president. Both times a republican.

Honnestly i am no expert, so i am not the one to say he is ready or not. But the previous management was guilty of that multiple times, bring up kid to fill hole in the team. This season is not really the season they abolutely have to make the playoff in my opinion. Progress is not always linear.

I guess it depends if he is really ready or not. Last thing i want is to sacrificing long term for short term gain. He only played a few months in the ahl, is it enough?

Don't you have to be careful with the comparaison? Demidov played for ska where the coach limited his ice time. Alexander Zharovsky play for Salavat where he has a lot more opportunities. I am not saying it is not impressive, but this is also not the same situation.

Can he do that, it is a law in the us and would probably need congress to end it. And the expiration is only in 2036. Next year is only a review i think.

My guess is that Carney is playing the long game knowing the peoject will never happen. No company will put 50 billions to do this when the demand in 10 years risk to be lower with china quicky electrifying. In the meantime he quell the separtatist movement. At least that what i would do.
