OK, what confuses me is I know the National Guard in the Marines are under federal control, but are the police under federal control and if not why is the mayor letting them fire on those protesters?

The best thing was that this played out in public because now everyone knows how Trump (and Vance) operate and they cannot back down from the reality of what they’ve done should things ultimately go awry in the long term.

Sadly, I suspect the Ukraine and Europe will still need the US to stand up to Putin in order for peace to happen, but with our current leadership, I’m not certain it will happen soon.

Vance needs to read up on his Russia-Ukraine history. He hadn’t a clue what he was trying to tell Zelenskyy. Then there was draft dodger Trump trying to tell the Ukrainian president about war.

The way they treated Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian group (allies) the oval office was incredible. No one should be treated like that. It was a one sided pissing match that belittled our country. Unfortunately a lot of it was from my former senator who has always been an idiot.

You’re assuming they can reason. A response from someone is usually “all of it” knowing they haven’t a clue.

How do you ban someone like that. Ticket bought by acquaintance, change of appearance? I don’t disagree, but wonder how it is accomplished.
