Sex is a biological characteristic present in thousands of species, not a construct of the patriarchy and we are all (399 out of 400 of us) identifiable as such down to the cellular level. The differences were developed thru evolution for mostly identifiable functional purposes. Race is not that.

PS Guaranteed that virtually none of the women and girls athletes playing now want to play with boys/men. Putting aside the dominance they'd face is the killing of the unique spirit you see at women's/ girls sports. This has social repercussions for girls in less teen pregnancy and other problems

What you wish for will yield the opposite of what you imagine and hard to imagine what you do - that size, strength, and speed aren't critical factors in athletic success. That's dreaming and my hopes for my granddaughter are grounded in the success of Title 9. You can't deny its positive results.

PS I admire the skill of women athletes which is why I attend games. I also watch men's college sports even though they're not as good as pros. The spirit of sports differ and is a large part of it and women's are unique in that way, almost never sullen, threatening, or anything but team driven.

Not exactly and not a firm denial. "An event dubbed a "Battle of the Sexes" took place during the 1998 Australian Open[64] between Karsten Braasch and the Williams sisters. Venus and Serena Williams claimed that they could beat any male player ranked outside the world's top 200. He was 203. He won.

No it wasn't and blacks have proven themselves more than equal to the job. Sorry, but women will not and they'll drop out of sports. Is that what you want, because that's what your get. I am in a university town and pay to attend women's sports. I have granddaughter who's 5 hope plays team sports.

You're dreaming. Both Martina and Serena said almost all of the men on the tour would beat them. Your suggestion would kill the now blossoming of women's and girls sports, one of the best changes in the world over the last 30 years. Why mess with that?

That would end women's and girls sports and the participation of most of them. OK before puberty but after males in general are bigger, stronger, and faster. This is not a matter of opinion. You would kill one of the best things to happen to girls in the last 30 years - their participation in sports

Sports are entertainment and generally paid that way. If you haven't noticed, women's sports are becoming very popular and like women's tennis may by pass men's in attention and soon pay. Your idea means very few women will be paid anything for athletic achievement.

I already said why your idea is bad and would ruin women's and girls sports. As a fan of the former - I'm in a university town with women's teams I pay to watch and as the grandfather of a 5 year old girl I hope wants to play like her mother did at basketball and soccer - i know why you're wrong.

OS The fact that you claim that only 1/3 of men's teams would want one of the best players in WNBA history - might be more than that - proves the fallacy of your position, not to mention the damage to women's and aspirational girls sports done by removing her. Girls now play sports by the millions!

Do want you want with boys and girls teams but we have men's and women's team for the simple and obvious fact that men are in general bigger, faster, and stronger than women and while some positions may not need those advantages, it's better that the very best women not be drained from their teams.

I was so labelled by an idiot who like you had no ability to rationally discuss issues and chose to "ignore" me, a tactic in line with their repeated hurling of insults instead of logic.

Hamas controls Gaza, not Israel, though it has totally unrealistic designs on it. The best hope for all the people who live in Israel was a 2 state solution but that has been killed by Netanyahu and his former ally Hamas and his present ally Trump. A single state there will not be Palestinian.

So, purposefully killing civilians not in the occupied territory is not possible, or you're saying it's OK? Whatever your opinion, that is terrorism according to civilized humans.

Compared to what Jeff. You do know that Harris losing didn't mean all time froze for 4 years until the next election right? Hate to break it to you but if you look at your TV, you'll see Trump has been in office for a year now and has broken more things than we can fix in a year. You F up.

PS Democrats will push positions of the Palestinian Authority, but not Hamas or others who's position is wiping out Israel. So political vote counting but also policy.

She correctly saw losing votes if aligned with Palestine. That is changing after a year of bombing the rubble, but was true then and probably still true.

To be blunt, a trade off with a likely net loss of votes. Columbia protestors and their cause were not popular and she couldn't be seen as on their team.

Given there are millions of democrats and of those tens of thousands who volunteer locally, the odds are good some will be jerks. Also, given that Bernie is not a Democrat but caucuses with them and has Democratic committee assignments and ran in their primary, there is no purity test.
