This is my take since early 2023 as well. you sum it up well - scientist communicate with the opposite logic compared to risk assessors and profound physical variables of climate change show acceleration and higher impacts. I have put it together for myself on a slide:

If that is the case then what we are witnessing are not the impacts of IMO 2020, but the land based de-SOx measures for the power sector, e.g. in the EU after 1996 and more spectacularly after 2004 as the result of the EU Large Combustion Plants Directive.

Arnyek (Shadow) is on guard duty. Today he was also our meteorologist on duty - while preparing the raised beds he was pestering us loudly. We did not know why, until a quick shower arrived - he was wanting us to take shelter in our “coop” as he has known that bad weather is coming.
