If Trump has achieved anything, it is this: he has dissolved the last vestiges of illusion which obscured the truth of the good ‘ol U.S. of A. I now see it as it it truly is, a bloated, festering cesspool of greed, gluttony, and selfish pride, wholly devolved from its pinnacle of truth and justice.

I find it sadly funny how often Socialism is used by the right to fix problems caused by Capitalism, i.e. bailing out soybean farmers after tanking the soybean market as a way to stick it to China.

So far in fiscal year 2025, the Federal government has collected $5.23 Trillion in revenue. 51%, $2.66T, is from Individual Income Tax, 33%, $1.73T, from SS and Medicare Taxes, and only 8%, $418B, is from Corporate Income Taxes. (per www.fiscaldata.treasury.gov)
