The last crowdfund had a realistic goal for the production they were doing, while this has a token goal of $20k (for 20 years if Rifftrax). It seems like the production will kind of be dictated by what they can raise.
Also, the last campaign wasn’t done on Kickstarter, probably a mistake.

A big part of the story here is that women like Renee Good are braver and stronger than they could have ever imagined and that just doesn't fit with what MAGA men tell themselves about how gender works. It just does not compute.

Incredible. Also, I was amused that the Twins weren’t on the original statement and I was like “eh, they’re probably not being good, they probably don’t have their shit together” and sure enough they eventually signed on.

This is good, but I want to add that not only are they going around saying “you’re not white, you might have an accent, show us your ‘papers,’” in many cases that documentation has been disregarded in favor of ICE’s face scanning app. Heaven help you if the computer thinks you look like someone else
