They all paid IHT before 1986 and somehow they survived and so did our food supply. They need to contribute to society just as everyone else has too…

I’m sorry I really don’t buy this. A fraction of the farming community, the wealthiest fraction, will have to pay this tax. They are paying half what anyone else does and they can it pay it off interest-free over 10 years. I don’t think farmers have a special case.
