‪One for the wishlist... 'Don't Forget To Write' by Charles Wood a terrific comedy drama starring George Cole and the (very underrated) Francis Matthews as rival writers. It ran on BBC2 for two series in 1977 & 79, and as far as I know has never been repeated.

BBC Radio 1/2 DJ's in 1972 when all 5 were signed for five year contracts for the 1st time. Jimmy Young, Tony Blackburn; Pete Murray; Terry Wogan and Ed Stewart. (Blackburn, 81 & Murray, 99 are the only ones still with us).

Incidentally the producer of 'Sky's The Limit' was Jess Yates, whose daughter Paula was later revealed to be the biological child of Hughie. The rascal.

Sad news. The lovely Play School presenter, and actress, Julie Stevens passed away on Thursday. She was 87 and had been battling Parkinson's for three years. RIP
