I threw some minis in there to check the scaling, and it's looking solid. This last section took a whooping 23 hours.

I'm currently designing a custom mechanic where players have to first attempt to get "dirt" on each of the factions, to understand their needs or weaknesses, and then see how they can leverage that info in order to ensure that their candidate wings the election. Nothing shady going on here!

Again, these are just suggestions, further iterations and tweaking may be required. Regardless, it's a fun and meaningful mechanic that really puts the pressure on the player!

The random elements can be swapped out as follows:
D4: even = spotted / odd= not spotted
D6: 2 & 5 = spotted / 1,3,4,6 = not spotted
D8: 1 & 8 = spotted / 2,3,4,5,6,7 = not spotted
D10: 3 & 7 = spotted / 1,2,4,5,6,8,9,10 = not spotted

The following roll was with a D8, D10, & D12, having only two called out numbers (random)- thus decreasing the chance of locating the thief each time, and the distance increasing.

The next roll was with a D6 and I chose two numbers randomly, and I called them before the player rolled. Again, if either of these numbers were rolled, the player would spot the thief, even though the distance may have increased.
