Out for a concert this evening

Also, I found this year’s advent calendar at the con exhibition hall. I am a happy dice goblin. It’s also the entire month so its a New Years Eve countdown calendar too! (I still plan on getting a cheese calendar if I can find a good one though).

And… I need to explain myself better and also pay attention to what I am getting at Fabricland. Asked for rec of a soft filler material for inside the mask. They gave me a softer filter material. I have now made little pillows using that and cotton balls. Queen of improvising right now? It’s comfy!

The part that should’ve been the easiest failed on me.. and I realized too late. I have a great short cape. But it does not close or overlap in the front and fit. I f’d that up. (Now considering Halloween ideas that use a short red cape.) My Needle arrived finally on Wed though!
Hornet’s Needle from Hollow Knight/Hollow Knight Silksong (original, no upgrade). It’s a 3d print build that’s assembled, sanded a bit, painted w primer and then top coat of metallic paint (twice).

Hornet mask is covered in mod podge and the foam has been removed from the seams. Horns seem to be a bit crooked.

I think I used thicker eva foam than the templater, they also filled the jnside of the mask w expanding foam. Mine seems ok.. maybe I’ll put some of the modelling foam inside too. But the stuff I bought was so difficult to work with.. it seems sturdy?*scratches head. Guess I let it dry and see.

Well, half of the mask base done. Def learned some things for the second half to be done better. (Pre-warming on the horn parts for sure. They really didn’t want to to seal together.) good thing there’ll be modelling foam over top of it. Still need to get fabric and thread for the cloak..

I also have a new Lego set, a Halloween wreath hanging on my home office door.
Lego Halloween wreath. It is topped w a large bat with cute googly eyes, fangs and outstretched wings. Around the wreath are a multitude of little pumpkins, tiny magenta, dark green and light green blossoms w dark green leaves, black and purple butterflies, orange leaves and clusters of purple blossoms. There are a few skeleton bones and forest green leaf clusters scattered among the leaves and blossoms. The top right and top left sides have two magenta fronds. The right one has a black spider on it. Below this on the right is a cute pumpkin head and on the left is a googly eyed ghost. The bottom left and right have spiderwebs, the left has a brown spider on it. In the middle of the bottom are two tiny bats next to each other.

It’s harvest season so I’ve gotten my harvest centrepiece Lego set out from last year.
Lego harvest centrepiece - resembles dried flowers and other autumnal coloured vegetation. The centre focal point features a reddish-brown gerbera and orange brown rose. Small dark yellow flowers and berries, wheat stalks, pine cones, small orange blossoms and auburn leaves surround and spray to either side left and right of the main flowers.

What the heck. Completely out of touch - sending Provincial MLAs a manifesto for why Canadians should become Americans that puts down in everything that makes us Canadian. No, the US is not better thanCanada and here is my answer Maine State Senator Joe Martin:

The air was not clean, it took the decades since then to CLEAN the air. The ozone layer around the Earth had a gigantic hole in it because of how not clean it was. It took until the year 2000 until LA stopped having smog warnings.

I have two… my iPad (since last summer) and my phone (Since Captain America: Winter Soldier)
