Another slower day: now I know not to just use '/' because that will just fetch from my current port.

Built a Recipe Manager backend CRUD routes.
Did a planning exercise that revealed I'm thinking in concepts but missing concrete implementation details.

That's the next hurdle to clear.

Finished an expense tracker app front end and backend. Lots of little errors and bugs to always troubleshoot, probably from doing this so late.

Today was a day where I felt like I learned a lot but also it wasn’t that much. I think I had a ton of questions about the minutia of it all, but got most of it sorted out.

Started w/ installing Express, battling Windows powershell permissions, and mis-navigating the terminal.
Got a server (very basically) running. Yay!
Reviewed old material before moving on to this.

Phase 3 done:
• GET requests (fetch data)
• POST requests (create data)
• PATCH requests (update data)
• DELETE requests (remove data)
• All React state management patterns
• Error handling for all operations
• Loading states
• Conditional rendering
• Immutable updates

Day 3/100 of #100DaysOfCode

Learned about the DELETE feature in working with APIs. Debugged a form-disappearing bug. Passed a comprehensive quiz assessment (95%).

3 down, 1 CRUD operation to go (UPDATE tomorrow).
