Pretty much every time I rewatch one of his films I feel like I underrated it on the previous watch no matter what.
Except DUNE. That one I got right.

I maybe didn't like it as much as I appreciated it (could have been my mood, though), but it's hard to deny the power of Nicholson's performance.

I’m sure they’ll manage to fuck it up somehow, but it’s also not like I have skin in this game. If it’s Good, Actually I’m sure I’ll check it out (I did, after all, subject myself to Deadpool & Wolverine), but if it’s bad I’ll ignore like I do with virtually everything they put out these days.

And I was thinking it’s looking like the closest they’ve gotten to making an actual movie in a long while. Which is, you know, damning with faint praise, but still.

I feel like the sequel is as good as, if not better than the first one.

As if this wasn’t already a “must buy” for me.
